Climbing to the top on a mountain bike to find a flag is pretty dang cool.
Exploring some new places.
Life stops for nothing.
Cloudy mornings on the mountain bike.
An interesting thing happens when you’re out training on your own. First, all you think about is your pedaling. Then, you stop thinking about it completely and you let the bike start to carry you through the suffering. Then your mind starts to wander to the things you want most in life. For me today, it was Hayley, my big plans for the future, the awesome new CSULB Cycling team kit, my desire to be a strong rider, and a big juicy hamburger that ran through my head.

Legs. We use them to take us places. I use mine to power my bike, which takes me to some pretty stunning places.

Sunday afternoon pt. 2
Sunday afternoons are for walks along the beach.
Making breakfast with these two is the right way to start a Sunday.
Throwback to simpler times.
The perfect day started with an amazing breakfast, a car ride, then continued all day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. But that’s not exactly why it was perfect. It’s because I got to spend it all with Hayley.
Hayley is snapping some stunning pictures in a stunning place.
